BT Directory Solutions have notified the industry that are removing Free Business listings published in the Standard BT Phone Book Print, A – Z Business Listings section. This comes may comes as a surprise to some people that there actually are standard BT phone books publised in print, perhaps they wont be for much longer.
Upto now telephone numbers have currently been entitled to one free listing in their Local BT Phone Book, with only additional entries or Special Phone Book Entries (Ordinary, Bold and Super Bold) being chargeable.
The change comes into effect on the 1st January 2023, meaning that all Phone Books published after this date will only contain residential building and paid-for business listings.
